I love making jewelry. All jewelry you see on this site I have made by hand with lots of love and attention. I have used wire and components of Sterling silver and 14K Goldfill. De beads are all made of gemstones. I never use solder or glue.

About designing
The designing and producing of the jewelry is a process in which my heart and my mind work closely together. At first there is the idea. An idea pops up at the most unexpected moments, generally when I am very relaxed. Frequently in those moments inbetween waking and sleeping, or when I am meditating. That can be quite annoying, because at that moment it's impossible to sleep of meditate, the idea keeps going through my head and I am unable to let it go. Sometimes I immediately try to make the piece of jewelry. But when it concerns a larger piece, I first draw the design so I can see whether I am able to make it. Sometimes the designs are so complicated that, while drawing, I discover that it simply cannot be made. When that happens, I keep sketching and sketching untill I have a design that actually can be made, and where the original idea still can be recognized. Most of my designs I keep on paper, as I don't have enough time to make everything I would like to. Making jewelry is very time-consuming. Making a necklace will take about 10 hours.

About making jewelry
It is very satisfactory to see a piece of jewelry growing in my hands, to put in harmony, to make sure that the shape and the materials are forming as a whole. Choosing the beads I let my intuition be my guide. When I am close to myself and therefore able to listen to my inner voice, the balance in the chosen beads comes naturally. Working that way I experience a great hapiness. Jewelry that is created that way, carries along the energy of this experienced hapiness, together with the energy of the stones. This positive energy will find her way further in this world. Knowing this, I see my work not only as a wonderfull occupation, but also as a meaningfull devotion.

About the gemstones
Every stone is telling us a story. A story about the history of the stone, about the ways it was used and what part it was playing in the world of the people. A story about the powers that were inputed to the stones and about the influence to the health of people carrying the stones.But there is more. When you sit down quietly, and you point your attention to your inner self and you let go of your thoughts, you will find the stones being able to help you discover what is living in your Spirit. The stones that are millions of years old, will help you to recover the contact with your eternal Source. You will get loose of the hectic of your everyday live and you will experience a loving welcome home in the depths of your Soul.

About the spiral
You will see a spiral in many pieces of jewelry I make. The spiral is the symbol of growth and eternity. And as being so, it is connected to each and everyone of us. You will also find the spiral in some of the paintings I have made.
