A necklace made of 14K Goldfilled wire and the gemstone Amethyst.

It looks as if the gemstone is captured in a web of gold. Maybe it has been growing there, pushing the web of gold further away, maybe it is growing still, who can tell.....

The Amethyst is handcut and the facets are also made by hand. This gives the stone a bit of a robust look, pure and natural. 40 small faceted rondelles give the necklace a total length of 40 cm, lobsterclasp included.
The earrings on the last picture are not included, but as you can see, are a perfect match for this necklace. More about the earrings? Look here....

14K Goldfilled means that 1/20st of the material consists of real 14K Gold. The golden layer will not wear off, it will last at least a lifetime. This is very different from goldplated, this is much better quality!!
